Dear Members,

Rules for the StrictlyBallet.com forums:

1. We welcome all guests to our forum and most topics should relate in some way to the art of ballet. We have dedicated a forum to non-ballet topics and welcome your posts regarding other dance arts.

2. No abusive posts.

3. No spam, pornographic material or sexually explicit content in posts.

4. When participating in an existing topic, please keep your post on topic. (This will ensure the forums stay organized and useful for all. The more threads the better! So start new threads for topics you want to explore).

Thanks and enjoy!

Terms Of Use:

Remember your Netiquette. Please be nice.
As in the real world, there is certain level of etiquette required. Try to convey expert knowledge or ask questions. Be respectful. Be constructive and enjoy!

Please contribute to the site's content in addition to posting your events. Our goal is to induce communication, not just function as an online calender.

Please be aware of the location of your posts. If at all possible, do not miscategorize your posts or replies.

Please refrain for posting lewd or lascivious content, unless you have a specific artist statement relating how and why it is appropriate. The admin retains all rights to approve or deny content.

Do Not Spam Us
Do not spam the forum with multiple posts of the same topic. Changing the title doesn't count as a different topic! Our active members check the forum often so multiple posts of the same topic are not necessary! We will remove extra topics, and if you continue to abuse the forum, we will remove your account! Spam is simply not acceptable.

The administration reserves the right to remove or edit material.

This board is intended to be constructive towards the promotion of art communication.

When listing events, keep it simple and limited to the specific details of the event.

If at all possible, post a short list and a few images. Limit your responses within reason. Overwhelming readers will most likely cause others to move on to the next topic.

If publishing a huge list of events, try adding a link rather than adding multiple entries.

Multiple posts on the same topic!
Please limit replicate posts. Do not post twice on similar topics. If there is a change, i.e., your event date has changed, delete the first post if you have permissions to do that, or just reply to it.

To avoid clutter, the admin and/or moderators will remove duplicates.

The admin and moderators reserve all rights to delete posts.

Posting Events
Please post your events on the site! Give other artists the opportunity to see what you are doing, and spread the word!

To avoid clutter and pruning by the admin, please only post your event once!
