1 ABT Summer Intensive Program
American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive has earned a reputation for being the most thorough and rewarding dance experience a student can have during the summer
2 Ballet Conservatory of Asheville
BCA's Summer Intensive 2011 will run from June 27 to July 23, 2011.
3 Ballet Theatre of Maryland
Dates: June 27 - August 5, 2011. Auditions: March 6 & March 13, 2011. The 2011 Summer Intensive is a 3-6 week intensive training program for advanced beginner through pre-professional dancers. Classes meet Monday-Friday and feature courses in technique, pointe, variations, jazz, flamenco, character, modern, and Pilates. It also includes choreography and acting seminars and mini-workshops.
4 Houston Ballet
Houston Ballet’s summer program offers six full weeks of intensive classes. Our program offers dancers the opportunity to make advances in technique and see a difference in their bodies and in the way they dance
5 Juilliard School Summer Ballet Intensive
The Summer Dance Intensive (July 17-August 5, 2011) is a three-week program in ballet and modern for advanced students who are dedicated, disciplined, and dance with a generosity of spirit.
6 Kansas City Ballet Summer Intensive
The five-week program offers classes for students ages 11 – 21 years. A highly concentrated curriculum in the Kansas City Ballet studios that includes Ballet Technique, Pointe, Repertoire, Men’s Technique, Character, Modern, Jazz and Partnering (taught for the highest level).
7 Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre
June 27–July 30. Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School has a distinguished reputation as an artistic and instructional leader of dance training and provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring dancers to experience a comprehensive curriculum in a professional environment. Under the direction of internationally renowned PBT Artistic Director Terrence S. Orr and School Directors Marjorie Grundvig and Dennis Marshall, the Intensive Summer Program (ISP) 2011 will include instruction by prominent PBT faculty members and other accomplished guest teachers.
8 Washington Ballet
Students are accepted into The Washington School of Ballet’s Summer Intensive by audition only. Audition classes will take place in various cities. These auditions are meant for students ages 13-22. Auditions for The Lower division can be done at the Washington, DC location or by DVD.
